Requirements for Address Documents
Address VerificationRevision: 2026-06-26Language: EN
Your address document must show your full name, current address, and issue date, and must have been issued within the last three months.
To pass address verification, the document you submit must meet specific quality and content requirements. Submissions that are missing key information or are of poor image quality are the most common reason address verification fails.
01
Content requirements
Your full legal name must appear on the document exactly as you entered it in the verification form.
Your full residential address must be clearly visible.
The issue date must be visible and must be within the last three months.
The issuing organisation (e.g. utility company, bank, or government body) must be identifiable.
02
Image quality requirements
The entire document must be in frame — do not crop out any edges.
All text must be sharp and legible.
Avoid photographing the document at an angle — keep it flat.
There must be no glare, shadows, or obstructions over the text.
For physical documents, photograph them on a plain, contrasting background.
Digital statements downloaded as PDF are often the cleanest option if the business accepts them. If you are submitting a photo of a physical document, use good lighting and hold the camera directly above the document. If text is cut off or illegible, take a new photo before submitting.
