Learn how ONEKYC ID lets you share your verified identity with new businesses instantly, without repeating the full verification process.

The first time you go through a full verification flow powered by ONEKYC — submitting your document, completing the liveness check, and receiving a confirmed result — your verified data is captured and associated with a ONEKYC ID. This profile is encrypted and held securely on ONEKYC's infrastructure.

How reuse works

A new business asks you to verify your identity and has ONEKYC configured.

ONEKYC recognises that a verified profile already exists for your details.

You are shown a consent screen explaining what data the business wants to access.

You approve or decline. If you approve, the business receives your verified status instantly.

If you decline, you proceed through the full verification steps as normal.

Your consent is required every time a new business wants to access your ONEKYC ID. No business can retrieve your verified data without your explicit approval in that session.

If the business requires a more up-to-date verification — for example if your document has since expired — you may be asked to complete a fresh check even if you have an existing ONEKYC ID. The business's compliance configuration determines when re-verification is needed.
